Description and manufacturing
Swirl diffusers are used in air conditioning, ventilation and heating systems. They create a swirling air supply for good mixing with the room air and are designed to distribute large volumes of air with a high temperature difference.
They are installed in rooms with ceiling heights above 4 metres.
The airflow direction is changed by adjusting the blade angle by means of: - manual central adjustment; - a servo actuator; - a thermostatic element. This achieves a high induction ratio and precise airflow control from 0° (fully open – vertical discharge of heated air) to 90° (fully closed – horizontal discharge of cooled air), ensuring intensive mixing of the cooled or heated supply air with the room air.
DESIGN AND MATERIALS
Material: the diffuser body and blades are made of aluminium.
Colour: standard white RAL 9010; other RAL colours must be agreed in advance.
MANUFACTURE
Diffusers of this series are available in standard diameters only: d500, d630; for smaller sizes a different diffuser type, VDL, is available.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY
Can be supplied with a VD plenum box made of galvanised steel (with side or axial connection to a circular or rectangular duct).
