Purpose

SDT linear slot diffusers for stretch ceilings are used in projects with high aesthetic requirements while maintaining high technical performance of the ventilation system. They are used in supply and exhaust ventilation and in air conditioning systems. The diffusers are designed for installation in stretch ceiling systems (PVC, fabric and others), giving the interior a modern, neat appearance.

The design makes it possible to create continuous ventilation lines with active and inactive sections for a minimalist interior. By adjusting the inner bar, the airflow direction can be changed without changing the air volume. SDT diffusers allow the flow direction to be changed by up to 60% while maintaining stable air distribution. The recommended installation height is up to 4 metres.

The diffusers can be used to ventilate apartments, private houses, offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, shopping and entertainment centres, shops and other types of premises.

Design and materials

The diffuser consists of a high-quality aluminium housing with a special profile adapted for installation in stretch ceiling systems. The diffuser has horizontal slots. The slot width can be 20, 30 or 40 mm.

The adjustable inner bar is made of 3 mm thick aluminium and controls the airflow direction in the horizontal plane. The housing design allows the diffuser to be neatly integrated into the stretch ceiling system, forming a straight slot ventilation line.

The slot width and diffuser length are selected according to the required airflow. The maximum length of a single element is up to 2.5 m, optimally up to 2 m. Corner elements from 300 to 1000 mm long can be used; the standard length is 500 mm (measured along the outer side). The standard angle is 90°; other angles are specified in the product designation.

As several elements can be joined together, the diffusers can form continuous ventilation lines of almost any length, including around the perimeter of a room. The protective and decorative finish is applied by powder coating. The standard colour is white (RAL 9016); painting in any RAL colour is also available.

Manufacturing

SDT series diffusers are made with a standard slot width of 20, 30 or 40 mm. Diffusers of any length L can be made in the range of 300 to 2500 mm in 50 mm increments. Active and inactive elements, corner modules and continuous ventilation lines can also be made to suit the requirements of a specific project.

Ordering example and installation

SDT-1-30-2 (RAL 9016/9005) L=500 – 1 – number of slots, 30 – slot width 30 mm, 2 – with 2 side flanges (closed ends). Used for elements up to 2.5 metres. Frame colour – white, plate – black.
