Description and manufacturing

Purpose

Concealed linear slot diffusers are used in projects with high aesthetic requirements without compromising technical performance. They are used in supply and exhaust ventilation and in all types of air conditioning systems. They are designed for installation in walls or plasterboard ceilings and offer an excellent appearance. They can be used for both air supply and extract.

Design and materials

The product consists of a high-quality aluminium housing with horizontal slots; depending on the model, the number of slots ranges from 1 to 6. The louvres in the frame are movable and rotatable, allowing the air direction in the room to be adjusted. The frame of this diffuser has ribs and holes for better bonding of the filler to the plasterboard. The inner bar separating the slots (in diffusers with 2 or more slots) is NOT filled over, so the diffuser colour should be matched to the colour of the ceiling or wall, depending on where it is installed.

Several elements can be joined together, so they can be installed in continuous lines of almost any length and shape.

The diffusers are finished with a protective and decorative powder coating. The standard colour is white (RAL-9016), but at the Customer's request the housing and blades can be painted in different RAL colours.

Manufacturing

The series includes both standard sizes and custom lengths L in the range of 300 to 3000 mm in 5 mm increments.

SDH-1 - h = 50 mm – a single-slot diffuser has a connection height of 50 mm; each additional slot adds 40 mm.

After the diffuser is installed, its edges are finished with gypsum filler and a final finish. In the finished state, only the slots and the partitions between them remain visible.

Ordering example and installation

SDH-1-2 (RAL-9016/9005) L=500 – 1 slot; 2 – with 2 side flanges (closed ends). Used for elements up to 2 metres. Frame colour – white, blades – black.

SDH-2-1 (RAL-9016/9016) L=1000 – 2 slots; 1 – one end closed, the other open (joining plates for connecting slot diffusers are included). Used for elements over 2 metres. Frame colour – white, blades – white.

SDH-3-0 (RAL-9016/9005) L=1500 – 3 slots; 0 – without side flanges (used as a middle element when installing several slot diffusers in one line). Used for elements over 4 metres. Frame colour – white, blades – black.
