Performance
Section through the room at the diffuser. Velocity and temperature on the jet axis come from the calculation verified against the manufacturer's selection software; the surrounding field is an engineering model of the jet and return flow, not a full CFD analysis. Lines show air particle paths.
Temperature difference in the occupied zone ≈ 1.48 K — comfortable.
• Outlet velocity is too high — it will be noisy. Choose a larger size or use several diffusers.
• There will be a draught near people. Increase the size or the number of diffusers, or choose a swirl type.
• High resistance: the fan will need more pressure. Increase the size.

Description and manufacturing
Purpose
These SDHA corner elements of concealed linear slot diffusers are used in supply and exhaust ventilation and in all types of air conditioning systems in projects with high aesthetic requirements without compromising technical performance. They are designed for installation in plasterboard ceilings and offer an excellent appearance. They can be used for both air supply and extract.
Design and materials
The product consists of a high-quality aluminium housing with horizontal slots; depending on the model, the number of slots ranges from 1 to 6.
The louvres in the frame are movable and rotatable, allowing the air direction in the room to be adjusted. The frame of this diffuser has ribs and holes for better bonding of the filler to the plasterboard. The inner bar separating the slots (in diffusers with 2 or more slots) is NOT filled over, so the diffuser colour should be matched to the colour of the ceiling or wall, depending on where it is installed.
The diffusers are finished with a protective and decorative powder coating. The standard colour is white (RAL-9016), but at the Customer's request the housing and blades can be painted in different RAL colours.
Manufacturing
The series includes both the standard length of 500 mm (measured along the outer (longer) side) and custom lengths L in the range of 300 to 700 mm in 5 mm increments.
The standard angle is 90°; other angles are available in 15° increments.
The H dimension is fixed.
SDHA-1 - h = 50 mm – a single-slot diffuser has a connection height of 50 mm; each additional slot adds 40 mm.
Ordering example and installation
SDHA-1-0 (RAL-9016/9005) L = 500 – 1 slot; 0 – without side flanges (used as a middle element when installing several slot diffusers in one line around the perimeter). Frame colour – white, blades – black.
SDHA + P-2-1 (RAL-9016/9016 / perf 9005) L = 300 – 2 slots; 1 – one end closed, the other open (joining plates for connecting slot diffusers are included). Frame colour – white, blades – white, perforation – black.
SDHA + D-110-3-2 (RAL-9016/9005 / demp 9005) L = 500 – 110 – angle of the corner element; 3 slots; 2 – with 2 side flanges (closed ends). Frame colour – white, blades – black, damper – black.
