Concealed linear slot diffuser RSDM

RSDM concealed linear slot diffusers for a flush plastered finish are used in projects with high aesthetic requirements where technical performance must be maintained. They are used in supply and exhaust ventilation and in any type of air conditioning system. Designed for installation in plasterboard ceilings, they provide an excellent aesthetic finish. This is a modified version of the RSD with redesigned mounting points for the adjustable slat; the slat itself is made of 3 mm thick aluminium, which gives an even more attractive appearance.

They allow a continuous line with active and inactive sections to be formed, creating a minimalist design. Adjusting the inner slat changes the airflow direction without changing the air volume. RSDM diffusers allow the airflow to be varied by up to 60% while maintaining a stable air stream. These diffusers can be used at installation heights of up to 4 metres.

The diffuser consists of a high-quality aluminium body with horizontal slots; depending on the model, there are 1 to 4 slots. The slot width is available in three options as required: 20, 30 or 40 mm. The movable inner aluminium slat directs the air into the room (it moves in the horizontal plane). The diffuser frame has ribs for better bonding of the filler compound to the plasterboard.

The slot width and the length of the diffuser are selected individually to suit your airflow requirements; however, a single continuous element must not exceed 3 m (preferably up to 2 m), and an RSDMA corner element must be between 300 and 1000 mm. The standard length of a corner element is 500 mm (measured along the long, outer side), and the standard angle is 90° (not stated in the designation); any other angle is given in the product name.

Several elements can be joined together, so they can be installed in continuous lines of practically any length, even around the entire perimeter of a room.

The diffusers are finished with a decorative protective powder coating. The standard colour is white (RAL 9016), but on the Customer's request the body and blades can be painted in other colours from the RAL palette.

Diffusers of this series are available in standard slot widths of 20, 30 or 40 mm and can be manufactured in any length L in 50 mm increments from 300 to 3000 mm.
