Description and manufacturing

Purpose

The diffusers are designed for horizontal air distribution, so that the airflow is distributed evenly throughout the room. They are used in supply and exhaust ventilation, air conditioning and air heating systems.

Design and materials

The perforated face panel is made of high-quality steel.

DCc – panel with directional perforation for circular air distribution; the swirl effect created at the diffuser outlet increases induction (faster mixing of room air with the supply air).

DCs – panel with directional perforation for four-way air distribution.

DCp – panel with round perforation d-5.0 mm, with a high free area percentage.

DC + panel – DCc or DCs diffuser panel with outer dimensions of 595x595 (to fit an Armstrong suspended ceiling (grid ceiling) module); the size of the working surface is specified by the customer, but neither dimension may exceed 550 mm.

Modifications:

Two types of fixing are available for connecting the panel to the plenum box:

  • standard (concealed) fixing with a screw connection (mounting holes on the side flanges);
  • central fixing (one hole in the centre of the diffuser); in this case the plenum box must be ordered with a central mounting bar (T-bracket), which is fixed inside the plenum and has threaded holes. The panel is fixed with an M5 screw (included).

The diffuser panels are coated with heat-resistant powder paint, which provides reliable protection against adverse environmental factors and prevents premature wear of the product. The standard colour is white, but any other RAL colour is available at the Customer's request.
