Performance
Section through the room at the diffuser. Velocity and temperature on the jet axis come from the calculation verified against the manufacturer's selection software; the surrounding field is an engineering model of the jet and return flow, not a full CFD analysis. Lines show air particle paths.

Description and manufacturing
Purpose
The diffusers are designed for horizontal air distribution in different directions, so that the airflow is distributed evenly throughout the room.
Design and materials
The products are made from high-quality aluminium profiles. The profiles are coated with polyester powder paint, which provides reliable protection against adverse environmental factors and prevents premature wear of the product. The standard colour is white (RAL-9016), but any other colour from the RAL palette is available at the Customer's request.
Manufacturing
Standard nominal sizes:
150x150, 225x225, 300x300, 350x350, 400x400, 450x450, 485x485, 550x550, 600x600.
The series includes both standard sizes and custom sizes (PDKp) in the range of 150 to 800 mm (nominal size LxH) in 5 mm increments.
PDK-1 – diffuser with one-way air discharge, non-adjustable, fixed (non-removable) core. Installed where the ceiling has protruding structures (beams) or where air must be supplied in one direction; mounted in rooms close to a wall.
PDK-2 – diffuser with two-way air discharge, non-adjustable, fixed (non-removable) core. Installed in rooms with protruding ceiling structures (beams); distributes the airflow in two directions.
PDK-3 – diffuser with three-way air discharge, non-adjustable, fixed (non-removable) core. Installed in the ceiling next to a wall or column; distributes the airflow in three directions.
PDK-4 – diffuser with four-way air discharge, non-adjustable, removable core.
PDKp – non-standard size diffuser, square or rectangular, with four-way air discharge, non-adjustable.
Ordering example and installation
PDK-4 (RAL-9016) 400x400 – non-adjustable, white.
PDK-2* (RAL 9016) 225x225+panel 595x595 (RAL 9005) – two-way discharge, screw fixing (mounting holes on the front face of the grille frame), white, combined with a black 595x595 panel for installation in an Armstrong suspended ceiling (grid ceiling).
